Harmony-Cree Morgan (b. 2001, New York City) is a London based artist and recent Goldsmiths Fine Art & Art History graduate, using the body and traditional design objects as sites of exploration for dialectical tensions in interpersonal relationships. Primarily drawn to ceramic and casting processes, the nature of these practices with their malleability and eventual permanence, mirrors the way our experiences shape us, leaving both visible and invisible marks. In her work, the body becomes a site of inquiry embodying the pains and joys that our relationships bring us, aiming to resonate with the viewer on a fundamental level and invite them to reflect on their own experiences of connection and isolation.
